dozen easy work lunches

Rumor has it variety is the spice of life, right? Well, in my opinion when it comes to packing lunch for work it really is. If your lunch is dull or too repetitive you won’t be inspired to eat it. That leaves you with wasted time (packing lunch), wasted food and the desire to go out and buy a lunch you shouldn’t! (unless your will power is stronger than mine ;) ) What’s worse is that we all know during the office “clean out the fridge Friday” that container is going in the trash! NO MERCY!

Now really with minimal effort we can avoid all that! I’m a reasonable sort of person, I get that every now and again you WANT to go out for lunch. I promise I get that and I do it too! I just try to make a concerted effort to bring my lunch most of the time for the sake of my wallet and my waistline! So I have combed through my blog and compiled a list of a dozen lunches that I think are easy to make and will inspire you to pack and bring your lunch! I also feel these lunches display a wide variety of fruits, veggies and snacks to pack in your lunch! Click through each link for more details on the lunch! Here we go:

1. Chicken Pesto Pizza

2. Breakfast Fried Rice

Now please have mercy on that lunch container! Don’t leave it in the fridge, it didn’t do anything to you! lol

Sincerely,
Deb

I am a new follower of your fabulous blog! I am always on the lookout for lunch ideas! Was curious what all you put on your Chicken Pesto Pizza, as I get a 404 Error Page Not Found. Obviously you have chicken and pesto and cheese, but what kind of bread/dough did you use?

  • Rosey

Nevermind! The link above the comments section took me to your post!

What brand are your pita crisps and where did you get them?

Hi. I actually made my own crisps from purchased pita bread. I simply slice them and toast them in the oven. Whole Foods has some great selections or I tend to buy Joseph’s as it is easily available in my area and something I grew up with. Please let me know if I can answer any questions.

      Thanks,
      Deb
