Oink and a Boo!
I noticed a couple of things last night…
- I haven’t used my CuteZcute cutter in awhile…
- I haven’t featured one of Trevor’s (my 3 year old) lunches in awhile…
I decided I would rectify both of those things on this post! Right here, right now!
This is absolutely one of the easiest cutters to use. I may have layered my spreads etc for effect but believe me a cute piggy can be created with very little effort. A definite toddler pleaser! I inserted 2 mini chocolate chips for pupils and the piggy is resting on a bed of popcorn. Trevor also got some cucumber leaves, a cheese stick and grapes. Then I couldn’t help myself and I cut the word OINK out of strawberries! Over the top I know! Don’t judge! This lunch is served in a Lunchbots Duo.
Brendan got another ghostly lunch. I actually had this lunch all decked out with food picks and spiders etc but then decided to hold back and keep it simple. So there is just one spook haunting this Lunchbots Trio container! Besides the ghost sandwich Brendan got popcorn, cucumber leaves and grapes just like his little brother. I then threw in a couple of salt and vinegar popped chips under the sandwich.
I think these 2 lunches illustrate pretty well that you can pack essentially the same lunch for different age levels and add a fun twist that is age appropriate without too much extra effort!
